Nadja tries to protect Elias, but only ends up getting herself shot in the chest multiple times by Eightball, the unhinged one of the group. Shortly after take-off, the plane is taken over by terrorists, including Berg, Eightball (Alexander Scheer) and Bastian (Kai Ivo Baulitz).
However, Nadja is infected with something that is far more deadly for those around her, rather than herself. We then cut back to Elias arriving at the airport and find out he's travelling to New York City with her mother Nadja so that she can get radiation therapy.Įlias gets talking to scientist Farid (Kais Setti) who is heading to New York for a convention, and it appears as though Nadja is living with leukaemia as she's treating herself with Cytarabine.
Something has clearly gone wrong as a sniper team is in place and one passenger on board is on a terrorist watch list.Īs the plane is guided in, Colonel Alan Drummond (Graham McTavish) talks to the injured person landing the plane, but warns him not to leave his seat as Drummond thinks he's the terrorist that took over the plane.Ī little boy, who we soon realise is Elias, comes out of the cargo hold of the plane and is taken away by the soldiers to see if they can discover what happened on the plane.
Blood Red Sky opens at RAF Lossiemouth in Scotland as a group of soldiers scramble to get ready for a plane landing.
